Looks convincing? But did you really think that was how you could make glow-in-the-dark mountain dew? That's only if you blinked your eyes during the 29th second (scene cut) and again during 0:38 - 0:40, where he takes his hands off the mountain dew bottle. But what would really happen if you did try that out? Or what does that actually net you?
Turns out while that wouldn't result in glowing mountain dew, your teeth would be glowing. Yup, that is a homemade recipe for making teeth whitener. Add some hydrogen peroxide to baking soda and brush to get some glowing white teeth. That wasn't so bad after all, at least you learned something useful because you came here. :)
As for how you could create the glow-in-the-dark mountain dew, try dissecting some glow sticks and pouring the liquid in slowly. Shake it to get the desired glowing effect. Drinking from the bottle after that is definitely a bad idea.
