SitePoint is giving away a free Ruby on Rails (RoR) Ebook by Patrick Lenz. It's a quick 20Mb download and you'll get a PDF file with about 400+ pages of RoR goodness (maybe less due to a bit of advertising thrown in). Free tangible modelling tools 1.0
Tangible is offering version 1 of tangible modelling tools for free. Tangible modelling tools is a UML tool for creating UML models such as activity diagrams. You could use Microsoft Visio to do the job, but you'd also have to pay for it. :) Unfortunately, even though tangible modelling tools is free of charge, it requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Standard or better, which isn't so free. I guess it's the lesser of the evils if you already use Visual Studio.Free Nintendo DS Feather Pen Stylus
Nintendo wants to know what you think about The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and give you a free Nintendo DS Feather Pen Stylus in the process. It may be just a feathery-shaped piece of plastic, but at least that's something. Of course, you'll also need to own the game, register it online and live in the US or Canada to qualify.
