The Forbidden Kingdom is where Jackie Chan and Jet Li will duel it out onscreen for the very first time! Expect some awesome ass-kicking! I'm not a big fan of the kid though. He looks a bit too goofy (and out of place) in this action film.
A discovery made by a kung fu obsessed American teen sends him on an adventure to China, where he joins up with a band of martial arts warriors in order to free the imprisoned Monkey King.
The mythical world starts a rebellion against humanity in order to rule the Earth, so Hellboy and his team must save the world from the rebellious creatures.
After an ancient truce existing between humankind and the invisible realm of the fantastic is broken, hell on Earth is ready to erupt. A ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below defies his bloodline and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures. Now, it’s up to the planet’s toughest, roughest superhero to battle the merciless dictator and his marauders. He may be red. He may be horned. He may be misunderstood. But when you need the job done right, it’s time to call in Hellboy (Ron Perlman).
As promised yesterday, 3D Realms has given us a quick glimpse at what Duke Nukem Forever may look like, that is, if it ever appears on the market. It isn't much, but from the looks of it, Duke's been keeping fit all these years. Still, I'd prefer some shots of Duke kicking ass to a couple of aliens screaming at me.
I'm looking for some alien toilet to park my bricks. Who's first?
Here's the second Wall-E trailer that isn't even on its official site yet. Like the last Wall-E teaser, there's no dialogue, only wonderful lively background music. The plot goes a bit like this -
On an abandoned Earth where trash has taken over, a robot named WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) accidentally finds the means for humans to return to their planet. Another machine, EVE, leaves to tell humanity the good news, and WALL-E follows her into space. (rottentomatoes.com)

Will Smith's upcoming film, Hancock, is about him starring as a super-laid-back superhero. How much of a bum is he, you ask. Well, just click play to find out. Don't miss the wicked ending!
After laughing my way through it, I'm sensing that Hancock = the movie version of What if Superman was one of us (song: What if God was One of Us by Joan Osborne).
I'm a bit late on this one but here's the crappy 6:30 minutes in-film cam footage of the Dark Knight aka the IMAX Prologue (I'm sure you can guess why). This short clip is all about the Joker and his crew, so fans of the Dark Knight himself may be quite disappointed. Not a problem for me though, although I'd prefer the rest of it as well. :D
As for the official high-res trailer (Death trap), you can also watch and download it at A Taste For The Theatrical.
In a parallel universe, young Lyra Belacqua journeys to the far North to save her best friend and other kidnapped children from terrible experiments by a mysterious organization. - Golden Compass @ IMDB
The first movie based on the bestselling Philip Pullman novels. The "His Dark Materials" trilogy is comprised of "The Golden Compass," "The Subtle Knife" and "The Amber Spyglass". It revolves around a young girl who travels to the far north to save her best friend. Along the way she encounters shape-shifting creatures, witches, and a variety of otherworldly characters in parallel universes.
PopSci has a look at a working prototype of Texas Instruments' cellphone projector, the Pico Projector. If you had no idea what that meant, think of a laser pointer. Except that instead of a tiny little dot on a screen, it's a full blown image of anything you want to show. Vacation pictures, Youtube videos or even game/movie trailers.
It would be pretty cool if a camera handphone like the iPhone got equipped with one of these mini projectors. Throw in a slideshow function and some simple transition effects, and you've just got yourself a bunch of Flickr folks who would be dying to get their hands on one.
You played the World in Conflict demo... or not. Anyway, have a behind the scenes look at World in Conflict, some in game footage and prepare for world domination on Sep 21 2007. Countdown begins now!
And here's the song featured in the World in Conflict video - Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears. A great 80s group by the way.
And the second Halo 3 ad is out! No dialogue this time, just some melodramatic music and who is that at the end? Why it's Master Chief himself, but who or what is beside him? Well, like it says you just have to "Believe".
So you've seen both ads, and wonder how it was made? Have a behind-the-scenes look in the making of Master Chief John 117 Monument. Almost makes you feel sad for the fella.
A marine recounts an epic battle he fought alongside Master Chief in this exclusive live-action Halo trailer.
The Halo 3 museum ad, just to get you warmed up for more videos and Halo 3. If you didn't know better, you would think that this was a documentary (maybe till he mentioned Master Chief).
The Iron Man trailer/teaser was leaked by Apple! It wasn't supposed to be available till later today but I guess it doesn't matter now. At least the trailer is more interesting than the Dark Knight trailer/teaser.
When Tony Stark is forced to create a life support suit to keep him alive after an accident he decides to use the technology in his suit to fight crime.
If you want to watch the trailer in higher quality, visit Apple's website.
The warrior Beowulf must fight and defeat the monster Grendel who is terrorizing towns, and later, Grendel's mother, who begins killing out of revenge.
The R-rated trailer of Beowulf was just released and here it is. Sounds a lot like 300. "I am BEOWULF!"
And yes, the graphics are computer generated. Looks quite realistic though.
The Dark Knight is the sequel to Batman Begins, aka Batman Begins 2. Here's the plot.
Batman and James Gordon join forces with Gotham's new District Attorney, Harvey Dent, to take on a psychotic bank robber known as The Joker, whilst other forces plot against them, and Joker's crimes grow more and more deadly.
Official teaser. It really is a teaser, seeing that it reveals nothing except about a minute of dialogue.
This fan-made trailer combines the teaser (which shows nothing) with some footage and pictures, making it even better than the offical teaser.
30 Days of Night: Blood Trails is based on the New Orleans storyline from the original graphic novel by Steve Niles 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails follows George, a young addict who makes a living seeking covert information for Judith, the weary but wise New Orleans vampire hunter. Ready for change, George plans to score one final job so he can leave town, but finds the road to salvation quickly crumbling when his contacts start turning up dead. Now George must dodge vampires while navigating the harsh underbelly of New Orleans to get his last payday and make it out alive.
30 Days of Night: Blood Trails is the web-exclusive prequel to 30 Days of Night, opening on October 19, 2007, starring Josh Hartnett and Melissa George. 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails will be a 7 part series, beginning on September 13, 2007 at FEARnet, leading up to the movie.
From the looks of it, if blood, gore and vampires are your thing, be sure to catch the web-series (since it's free, I think). And be prepared to scrreeaam!
What happens when your perfect life is threatened by a kidnapper? What would you do? How far will you go? What would you risk? This thriller, starring Gerard Butler, Maria Bello and Pierce Brosnan is not just another kidnapping movie. The characters aren't really sure of the kidnapper's motives, plus there's a twist in the ending. An IMDB rating of 9.5 from 300+ people surely says something about Shattered.
Even if you're not planning on buying or playing the Simpsons Game, you should watch this trailer of the upcoming Simpsons Game. Why? For starters, it's the Simpsons. And it's a wonderful parody of Medal of Honor, complete with black and white footage, supported by serious orchestral music. It's best to keep quiet now, lest I spoil the experience for you. Perhaps this will change your mind about the Simpsons Game.
